Environmental Management System Program
Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to
establish and define a documented Environmental Objectives and Targets at
relevant functions and levels within JTC to determine an Environmental
Management System Program in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 requirements.
Scope of Application
This procedure covers all
JTC's Environmental Management System Programs from planning, setting-up of
objectives and targets, program implementation, monitoring and checking as part
of an audit and its continual improvement
Responsibility
The Managing Director shall be the
overall responsible for monitoring of the EMS programs. However, the Management
Representative and the HSE Manager shall be working together for the
implementation of the program including the assessment of its effectiveness and
continual improvement
JTC's environmental policy has been incorporated in the
Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy which is being implemented throughout
the company's activities that covers the following elements:
